Conway Recreation Committee
The Recreation Committee plans, conducts community fundraising events, and coordinates Conway's annual Easter Egg Hunt, Halloween and Christmas parties, as well as the Conway Community Day.
The sole objective of the committee is to coordinate the activities needed to have a range of events throughout the year that will bring our neighbors and the community together, and which enhance the quality of life in Conway for all of our residents. As a result of the committee's fundraising activities, no taxpayer money is used for any of the community events that the committee sponsors.
Donations can be made in person or via mail to the Borough Secretary's Office.
The Recreation Committee is composed of 9 citizen members each of whom are appointed by Council to serve a 5-year Term. These 9 are supplemented by several Council persons who are members of the Council Recreation Committee.

The Conway Recreation Committee uses no taxpayer money for the events that we sponsor each year. We rely on fundraising events, and donations to provide the funds needed to put on the holiday parties and community day - especially the Community Day Fireworks show.
