COUNCIL COMMITTEES
Conway Council is organized into a number of committees that oversee, direct, recommend and implement policy for the specific function or area of the borough that they are responsible for.
The President of Council can determine the committees, however, when the new council took office in January of 2010, the committees were determined by a majority vote of all council members as codified in the 2010 Council Committee Resolution.
The President of Council names the Chairperson and other members of each committee.
Council Committees should operate pursuant to the Council Committee Rules policy adopted in January 2010.

**Council Representatives to Beaver County (COG) Council of Governments:
Albert Sobolosky, Joe Bohach & Patty Then
**Communications, Public Relations & Grants Committee was created in mid-2011.
- Responsible for facilitating and coordinating communications between & among the council, appointed officials, and borough employees as well as Public Relations (preparing & distributing all public information).
- Liason to COG, other (neighboring) municipalities & Freedom Area School District
- Recruiter/Coordinator of Jr. Council Person program.
- Responsible for identifying and coordinating efforts to secure grants for the borough.
